Introduction

Relationship between half angle of die hole stretching and stretching:

The tensile force decreases with the increase of the tensile half angle. After reaching a certain value, it gradually increases with the continuous increase of the tensile half angle.

Relationship between die hole shape and stretching:
In the conical die hole, the deformation degree of wire rod during drawing is average. As the compound force increases gradually, the closer to the die hole outlet, the greater the compound force. Therefore, the die hole near the outlet is easy to crack, which shortens the service life of the stay die.

In the arc-shaped die hole, when the metal is stretched, the deformation degree is large at the beginning, and then decreases gradually. The deformation resistance is not concentrated at the outlet, but in the compression zone. In the process of drawing, the arc-shaped die hole is first ground into a straight line, and then continues to move outward, thus increasing the service life of the drawing die.
