Silicon Carbide Plunger Rod is formed by dry bag isostatic pressing
and sintering without pressure. According to the design
requirements for multi-angle drilling, keyway processing, inside
and outside diameter and end face for finishing, can be five axis
processing, to meet the different design needs of users.
Typical applications
Strong corrosion, particle erosion conditions of the piston pump.
Application industries: fine chemical, pharmaceutical, medical
treatment, etc.

machining, and finishing of inner and outer diameters and end faces
(including curved surfaces).
Silicon Carbide Plunger Rod is available in rough form with
machining accuracy of 0.1mm; Finishing products can also be
provided, with machining accuracy up to 0.001mm cylindricity and
surface roughness up to 20nm Ra.
Silicon Carbide Plunger Rod is manufactured for rigorous testing of
density, size, surface fluorescence penetration, and surface
microstructure.
Silicon carbide plunger rod material density up to 3.15g/cm3,
Vickers hardness up to 23GPa, high wear resistance.
