The main components of single-phase motor are rotor and stator windings. The rotor is a rotating component and the stator windings help to rotate the rotor. The iron laminate mounted inside the rotor is not shown for a better view of the rotor rod. The winding is divided into two parts: a main winding and an auxiliary winding. The secondary winding is placed perpendicular to the main winding. The capacitor is connected to the auxiliary winding.
