Description

The figure-8 aerial fiber optic cable is meticulously engineered for self-sustaining aerial deployment. It begins

with meticulous placement of single-mode or multimode fibers within a protective loose tube crafted from high

modulus plastic. These tubes are further safeguarded by a water-resistant filling compound, ensuring the fibers

remain shielded from environmental factors. A pivotal steel wire, situated at the core, serves as the cable's

backbone, fortifying its tensile strength. Around this core, the tubes and fillers are intricately stranded, creating

a robust and compact circular cable core. Encasing this core is a layer of PSP (Polyethylene Sheath), augmen-

ting its resilience. Finally, the assembly is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath enveloping the stranded
