Casting method of monofrax s-3 s-4 s-5 Fused cast zirconia corundum bricks :
Electrocast zirconia corundum block is made by completely melting the raw materials and casting it in a casting mold, which is cooled and solidified. The shrinkage caused by the volume shrinkage of this product during condensation is a matter of special attention when using it. The casting methods of fused zirconium corundum bricks are ordinary casting (PT), inclined casting (QX), non-shrinkage casting (WS) and quasi-shrinkless casting (ZWS)
Usage of monofrax s-3 s-4 s-5 Fused cast zirconia corundum bricks
Fused Cast zirconia corundum are widely used in glass melting furnace because the fused zirconium corundum brick is an important refractory material variety in modern glass melting furnaces. It is currently produced in a large amount in the world. It is a widely used refractory product. It has good resistance to glass erosion and resistance to rapid cooling and heat. The heat load performance is applied to all important parts of the furnace.
PT: The usual pouring method, the shrinkage hole of the product is
located in the lower part of the casting mouth, and it is mostly
used for the upper structure of the melting pool.
QX: The oblique casting method is adopted, and the shrinkage hole of
the product is offset to the lower end, which is mainly used as a
pool wall brick.
WS: Non-shrinkage casting, the non-shrinkage product of the
shrinkage hole part of the cast brick is mainly used, such as the
liquid erosion hole, the kiln sill, the corner of the pool wall,
the paving surface, etc.
ZWS: Quasi-free shrinkage casting, mainly used as pool wall bricks,
basically removing the shrinkage of the cast bricks, mainly used as
pool wall bricks.
