corrosion resistance. It belongs to the Stellite family of alloys,

equipment.
Composition:
- Primary Element: Cobalt (Co)
- Major Alloying Elements: Chromium (Cr) for oxidation resistance,
Tungsten (W) for strength and wear resistance, and Carbon (C) for
carbide formation.
- Typical Composition: ~30% Cr, ~4.5% W, ~1.2% C, balance Co.
Properties:
- High Hardness: Retains hardness at elevated temperatures.
