With advanced CNC machines for turning, cutting and milling, we can process mica into various shapes and sizes, such as gasket, washer, flanges and discs according to customers’ requirements.

The mica CNC machined parts are made from rigid mica sheet, which has excellent mechanical strength and electrical properties under normality.

Mica sheet with a thickness > 2.0mm can be processed by CNC machining methods such as cutting, drilling and milling.

Thickness < 2.0mm can be punched by mold tooling. This will process to mica punched parts It’s with a more efficient and low-cost process. But have a higher cost to make mold tools. That’s suit for large qty demand.

How to cut the mica sheet into mica insulation parts?

When people get the mica sheets, they will process the mica sheet to mica insulation parts. How to cut the mica sheet then? The process method depends on the accuracy of the mica sheet thickness and the mica insulation parts.

Thickness < 2.0mm mica sheet can be punched by mold tooling.

Mica sheets with a thickness > 2.0mm can be processed by CNC machining methods such as cutting, drilling and milling.

When using the saw to cut the mica sheet, we can control size tolerance: +/-0.5mm

When using the CNC process for the mica sheet, we can control the size tolerance: +/-0.2mm

Step 1: Mica Sheet Sample (Unprocessed mica sheet in A4 size):

The mica sheet sample is free. That tests the mica sheet properties, appearance, and thickness.

Step 2: Mica Part Sample (Processed as customized design):

Confirm the customer’s design, quote, and confirm the process method, then arrange the sample.

Note: It is normally there a smell when using the heating equipment for the first time. After that, it will be in good condition.
