Description of the mold sprue bushings
The sprue bush is a part that allows plastic material to be injected from the nozzle into the interior of the mold. It is fixed to the mold with 2 bolts to prevent it from falling off due to the injection pressure. Materials of the mold sprue bushings
1. SKD61 hot work die steel can produce high-end and very durable
sprue bushing, the hardness can reach 48~52HRC. The sprue bush made
with SKD61 has the characteristics of high temperature resistance
and durability, and the quality of the molded product is excellent.
2. SUJ2 bearing steel is a commonly used manufacturing material for
the middle end sprue bushing. The heat treatment hardness is about
±HRC52.
3. S45C, the material used in the low-end mold, after the high
temperature, spray anti-rust oil and other anti-rust treatment to
prevent rust.
