Normally, the material of plastic grille is PP+EPEM+T20, or PP+EPDM+T15, or EPDM+EPP. ABS material is also suitable but it’s more expensive than PP material. Grille plastic part sample our company made, the thickness normally is 2.5-3.5mm. If we use the Gas assisted injection molding, the thickness will become thinner. In addition, if the bottom of bumper and grille connect, the thickness of grille should reach over 2.0 and the demoulding angle needs to increase. If the grille is separate, the thickness of grille hole should reach 1-1.5mm. Considering electroplating, the design should consider electroplate part structure.
