The 2.5 MVA (2500 kVA) pad-mounted, compartmental-type transformer is a liquid-filled, three-phase step-down unit engineered for reliable distribution service. Designed for loop-feed applications, it features a DYN1 vector group with a 12,470 V delta primary (15 kV class, 95 kV BIL) and a 400Y/231 V wye-neutral secondary (1.2 kV class, 30 kV BIL). The transformer is rated for 60 Hz operation, 65°C temperature rise, Class E insulation (120°C), and KNAN (self-cooled) cooling with no forced air fans.
