EPS Prefabricated steel structure sandwich roofing and wall panels
Polystyrene Sandwich Panel, usually called EPS Sandwich Panel,
comprised of pre-painted steel sheets continuously laminated over a
fire retardant treated Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) core. The EPS
core, whilst having a fire retardant additive is not fire rated.
EPS Sandwich Panel can be used in horizontal or vertical applications and with a range of color, joint and profile options, it can meet the functional and aesthetic requirements demanded by a variety of facilities such as Sports Centres, Commercial premises, Offices, Warehouse and Factories.
EPS Sandwich Panel's range of colors, joints and profiles deliver the first-class finish inside and out. The panels can be joined with a standard slip joint or a tongue and groove type joint. It allows for easy and rapid installation whilst providing greater strength in walls and a clean, smooth aesthetic look.

Sandwich panel is a structure made of three layers: low-density
core inserted in between two relatively thin skin layers. This
sandwich setup allows for achieving excellent mechanical
performance at minimal weight. The very high rigidity of a sandwich
panel is achieved thanks to the interaction of its components under
flexural load applied to the panel: core takes the shear loads and
creates a distance between the skins which take the in-plane
stresses, one skin in tension, the other in compression. General

Applications
Sandwich panels are used in those applications where high
structural rigidity and low weight is required. An evident example
of the use of sandwich panels is aircraft where mechanical
performance and weight saving is essential. Other applications
include packaging (e.g. fluted polypropylene boards of
polypropylene honeycomb boards), transportation and automotive, as
well as building & construction.
