Model : LNK-E16G4 Series
Product Description & Overview
The 16E1 + 4GE PDH Multiplexer is an advanced fiber optic transmission platform engineered with
custom VLSI technology for superior signal integrity and bandwidth efficiency. This high-capacity
multiplexer delivers comprehensive interface integration, supporting full 16-channel E1 links compliant
with G.703 standards alongside 4 independent Gigabit Ethernet ports that provide 1000M line-rate
throughput. The Ethernet interfaces incorporate sophisticated Layer 2 switching capabilities including
VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritization, and broadcast storm control, enabling seamless convergence
of legacy TDM and modern IP networks.
Beyond its core functionality, the system features two versatile expansion slots that significantly enhance
its application scope. The primary expansion interface accommodates multiple signal types including
RS232/RS485/RS422 serial data, voice channels, 2/4-wire E&M audio, and dry contact signals, while the
secondary slot can be configured to transport an additional 2M bandwidth Ethernet stream for auxiliary
data requirements. An optional PCM digital business telephone interface further extends the device's
voice communication capabilities, making it particularly suitable for hybrid service environments requiring
both data and voice transmission.
Engineered for carrier-grade reliability, this multiplexer incorporates comprehensive alarm monitoring and
fault detection systems that continuously track performance metrics across both local and remote endpoints.
The platform demonstrates exceptional operational stability with minimal power consumption, achieved
through high-density integration that results in a compact form factor ideal for space-constrained installations.
These characteristics make it an optimal solution for telecommunications backhaul, mobile network base station
connectivity, and enterprise network extension applications where robust performance and flexible configuration
are paramount for mission-critical operations.
