Description

The water temperature sensor is a very important sensor. It participates in the full working condition correction of the engine and controls the work of the cooling fan at the same time. The water temperature sensor is a negative temperature coefficient sensor. The higher the temperature, the smaller the resistance value, and the lower the temperature, the larger the resistance value. The water temperature sensor is also called the engine temperature sensor, which converts the engine temperature signal into an electrical signal and transmits it to the engine ECU to identify the water temperature and correct the fuel injection. The water temperature sensor, according to the characteristics of the thermistor, its resistance value changes with the change of temperature, and the signal voltage also changes accordingly. The ECU then controls the fuel injection amount according to the current water temperature signal.
