Description

The function of the oil pump is to pressurize the oil in the oil pan to the oil filter and various lubriing oil passages to lubrie the main moving parts of the engine and filter the oil.
When the engine is working, the oil pump works continuously, so as to ensure the continuous circulation of the oil in the lubriing oil circuit. Under various engine operating conditions, the oil pump should ensure that sufficient lubriing oil is supplied. Since the speed of the oil pump is proportional to the engine speed, the oil pump has the worst oil supply capacity at low speeds. Therefore, the design should consider that the oil pump has sufficient oil supply at low speed.

Maintenance method of gear oil pump

If the engine is in use, if it is found that the oil supply of the lubriion system is insufficient, the oil pressure is too low, or an abnormal sound is heard during operation, the following inspections are generally required.
1. Check whether there is oil leakage in the oil pipeline and joints. If there is no oil leakage, you should rest for other inspections.
2. Check the viscosity of the oil.
3. Adjust the oil pressure. If the oil pressure does not rise during the adjustment process, other aspects should be checked again. The adjustment method of oil pressure is shown in Figure 8-
5 shown.
4. Check whether the oil copper pipe between the rocker arms is broken.
5. Check whether the oil inlet coarse filter of the suction tray is blocked or not. After all inspections have found no hidden troubles, remove the oil pump
Repair after disassembly.
