Teardrop Frames

Teardrop systems offer easy assembly with 2" vertical beam adjustments. Bolted frame and Welded frame are optional as specific requests. The teardrop beam-to-column connection is designed to be compatible with other widely available teardrop systems.

• Optional 3.0”*3.0” with 14Ga~12Ga Column profiles as requested frame load.

Teardrop Step Beams

• Interchangeable teardrop step beams are available in 2.5"~6.0" profiles, in 48~156" length, with the capacity of 12,000 lbs. per pair. You can attach Ironstone step beams into many existing teardrop racking systems both old and new. Beams have a safety factor of 1.67 based on the minimum yield of steel. All beam capacities are calculated based on the requirements of the latest RMI/ANSI MH16.1 - 2012 specification.

• Ironstone teardrop pallet rack system provides a robust, patented, automatic lock for improved Load safety. The automatic Springlock assembly provides positive beam-to-column engagement, improving installation speed and safety.

• All beam capacities are based on uniformly distributed loads on a pair of beams. Our new processing “ribs” that are built around the beam face can improve the carrying capacity of a beam as well as the capacity of anti-spreading from the horizontal force.

Teardrop Rack Accessories

• Row spacer creates distance between each of your pallet rack bays. This allows you to keep all of the rows of pallet racks organized, in line, and spaced evenly. The quantity of row spacers needed depends on the height of the uprights.

• For pallets that are not large enough to fit on a pallet rack shelving level, pallet supports will provide the needed extra platform base. Pallet supports create added support by cascading over the face of the beam (waterfall type). Typically, two pallet supports are needed per pallet position.

• By adding increased protection for your storage system, column protectors preserve the condition and structural strength of your racking. Our typical 12" column protector is designed with long-lasting steel and easily bolts to the floor for structural support.

• Wire decks add utility to your storage unit by providing further stability for pallets stored on the racking. Decking can also be helpful for preserving stray products that may come out of boxes or cartons.
