(1) in the selection and use of inductive coil, the first to think
of the coil inspection measurement, and then to judge the quality
of the coil and pros and cons. In order to accurately detect the
inductance and quality factor Q of the inductance coil, special
instruments are generally required, and the testing method is more
complex. In practical work, this kind of detection is generally not
carried out, only the coil on and off inspection and the size of Q
value judgment. You can first use the multimeter resistance to
measure the DC resistance of the coil, and then compare it with the
original determined or nominal resistance value. If the measured
resistance value increases much more than the original determined
or nominal resistance value, or even the pointer does not move
(resistance tends to infinity X), you can judge the coil break; If
the resistance measured is very small, it is difficult to determine
whether it is a serious short circuit or a local short circuit. In
both cases, you can judge that the coil is broken and cannot be
used. If the test resistance is not much different from the
original determined or nominal resistance, the coil is judged to be
good. In this case, we can judge the quality of the coil according
to the following situations, that is, the size of Q value. When the
inductance of the coil is the same, the smaller the DC resistance
is, the higher the Q value is. The larger the diameter of the wire
used, the larger its Q value; If multi-strand winding system is
used, the more strands of wire, the higher Q value; The smaller the
loss of the material used in the coil skeleton (or core), the
higher its Q value. For example, when high silicon steel sheet is
used as iron core, its Q value is higher than that when ordinary
silicon steel sheet is used as iron core. The smaller the coil
distribution capacitance and flux leakage, the higher the Q value.
For example, the coil of honeycomb winding method, its Q value is
higher than that of flat winding, higher than that of disorderly
winding; When the coil has no shielding cover and there are no
metal components around the installation position, the Q value is
higher, and conversely, the Q value is lower. The closer the shield
or metal component is to the coil, the more serious the Q value
decreases. The position of the magnetic core should be properly
arranged; The antenna coils and oscillating coils should be
perpendicular to each other, thus avoiding the effect of coupling.
(2) The appearance of the coil should be checked before
installation
Before use, should check whether the structure of the coil is firm,
whether the wire turns loose and loose phenomenon, lead contact is
not loose, magnetic core rotation is flexible, there is no slip
buckle, etc.. These aspects are checked and qualified before
installation.
(3) The coil in the use of fine tuning, should consider the method
of fine tuning
Some coils in the use of the process, the need to fine-tune, rely
on changing the number of coils and very inconvenient, therefore,
the selection should take into account the method of fine-tuning.
For example, single-layer coil can be used to remove the end of the
number of trapped coil method, that is, in advance on one end of
the coil around 3 ~4 laps, in fine tuning, moving its position can
change the inductance. It has been proved that this adjustment
method can achieve fine tuning of ±2%-±3% inductance. The coil used
in short-wave and ultra-short-wave circuits is usually set aside as
fine tuning, and the inductance can be changed by removing or
folding the half coil. Fine tuning of multilayer segmented coils
can be achieved by moving the relative distance of one segment, and
the number of moving segments should be 20%-30% of the total number
of turns. Practice has proved that this fine tuning range can reach
10%-15%. For a coil with a magnetic core, the inductance of the
coil can be fine-tuned by adjusting the position of the magnetic
core in the coil tube.
(4) The inductance of the original coil should be maintained when
using the coil

number of coils. Therefore, the high-frequency coil used in TV sets

maintenance, do not arbitrarily change or adjust the position of
the original coil, so as not to lead to detuning failure.
(5) The installation of adjustable coil should be easy to adjust
