Trailer Axle Hub Assembly Disc Brake 13" Wheel Hub Disc Brake For Horse Trailer
The brake drum is generally made of a special type of cast iron that is heat-conductive and wear-resistant. It rotates with the wheel and axle. When a driver applies the brakes, the lining pushes radially against the inner surface of the drum, and the ensuing friction slows or stops rotation of the wheel and axle, and thus the vehicle. This friction generates substantial heat.
Hub drum contains Trailer Brake drums for operating Electric Drum
or Hydraulic Drum Brakes. We have these heavy duty Brake Drums
available in 5 Lug, 6 Lug, and 8 Lug assemblies complete with wheel
bearings, grease seal, lug nuts, and dust caps. These Trailer Brake
Drum kits help keep the project simple. Additionally below are
several different 5 Lug Pattern Brake Drums. We trailerry all the 5
Lug options for your trailer. While the 5 on 4 1/2 is the industry
standard, we also have the other hard to find Lug Patterns for 5
Lug Trailers. The 5 Lug Brake Drums are used with 10" Brake
Clusters, and the 6 Lug and 8 Lug Brake Drums are used with 12"
Brake Clusters.
