The friction stabilization anchor is a new type of anchor that provides full-length anchoring and active reinforcement of the surrounding rock.
It consists of an anchor rod and a support.
The anchor rod is made of high-strength steel tubing with longitudinal slits. When installed in a borehole slightly smaller than the tubing diameter, the anchor rod immediately applies radial pressure throughout the entire length of the borehole, preventing the surrounding rock from sliding downward. Combined with the support force of the support, the surrounding rock is subjected to three-dimensional stress, thus achieving rock mass stability.
