During the thixomolding process, metals and alloys are heated to
the temperature of transition from solid to liquid; here a
thixotropic state is achieved, in which the viscosity of the
material decreases. As a result, the metal under slight pressure is
able to take the desired shape - very complex configurations become
possible.
Acceptance:
1. Acceptance standards: to be accepted on the basis of the
requirements set out in the technical agreement and acceptance
standards provided by the seller.
2. Acceptance procedures: Acceptance will be divided into factory
acceptance and final acceptance.
3. At the time of factory acceptance, the seller shall provide
certificates of quality and record of factory test signed by
professional personnel (including test data and major parts and
components of the equipment, and record of raw material inspection,
etc).
4. Final acceptance shall be performed on the buyer’s installation
site. Inspection of various performances of equipment and test
acceptance shall be performed subject to the acceptance standards
and technical agreements. (The buyer shall be responsible for molds
and their process).
