Rice non-woven fabric is a new kind of high efficiency polystyrene
fiber hot pressing covering material. It has the characteristics of
heat preservation, air permeability, anti-condensation, corrosion
resistance and durability. For many years, rice seedling field has
been using plastic film cover seedling, although this method has
good thermal insulation performance, but seedlings are easy to
grow, the occurrence of bacterial blight and bacterial blight, and
even high temperature burning seedling phenomenon, every day to
give seedlings ventilation, trouble, seedling beds need a lot of
water supplement. Non-woven rice seedling technology is another
innovation of rice seedling technology, non-woven rice seedling
instead of plastic film seedling. Non-woven mulch can provide
relatively stable light, temperature, air and other environmental
conditions for the growth of early rice seedlings, and promote the
better development of seedlings, thus increasing the yield per unit
area of rice. Two years of testing showed that non-woven mulching
increased yield by about 2.5%.
Second, advantages and disadvantages
1. Special non-woven fabric with microporous natural ventilation,
the highest temperature in the film is 9~12℃ lower than the plastic
film cover, the lowest temperature is only 1~2℃ lower than the
plastic film, temperature stability, avoid the phenomenon of high
temperature burning seedlings in the plastic film cover.
2, rice seedlings with special non-woven cloth cover, humidity
change, without artificial ventilation seedlings, can obviously
save labor, reduce labor intensity.
3, non-woven permeable, rainwater through non-woven into the
seedbed soil, can use natural rainfall and agricultural film is
impossible, so as to reduce the number of watering, save water
labor.
4, non-woven cover seedlings short and strong, neat, tiller,
straight leaves, leaves darker color.
Reduce environmental pollution. The service life of non-woven
fabric for rice seedling is 3 years, which is equivalent to
agricultural film. However, because it is made by hot pressing of a
polypropylene substrate spinning machine, it is more easily
degraded than agricultural film under the physical action of
sunlight. In addition, it has air permeability and permeability.
Even if some debris does enter the soil, it does not have the same
negative effects as agricultural mulch that hinder soil water and
nutrient transfer, so it is much less polluting than plastic mulch.
6. Increase rice yield per unit area. Because the non-woven dry
seedling is strong, it is beneficial to increase the yield of rice,
generally increasing by 2~5%.
7. The transmittance of non-woven cover decreases, and the
transmittance of plastic film cover and non-woven cover
respectively accounts for 76% and 63% of atmospheric light, with
little difference between the two. However, under seedling
conditions, it accounts for only 61% and 49% of atmospheric light,
respectively. This may be because the soil moisture of water
seedlings is significantly higher than that of dry seedlings,
resulting in more dew, lower permeability and lower illumination.
Non-woven mulch is suitable for dry seedlings.
