Commonly used Angle iron (also called Angle steel) model and
material specific introduction:
Angle steel specifications are indicated by the dimensions of side
length and side thickness. At present, the specifications of
domestic Angle steel are 2~20, and the cm number of side length is
the number. The same Angle steel often has 2~7 different edge
thicknesses.
The actual size and edge thickness of import Angle steel shall be
marked on both sides and the relevant standards shall be indicated.
Generally, large Angle steel with side length above 12.5cm, medium
Angle steel with side length between 5cm and 12.5cm, and small
Angle steel with side length below 5cm.
The delivery length of Angle steel is divided into two kinds: fixed
length and double length. The selection range of fixed length of
domestic Angle steel is 3~9m, 4~12m, 4~19m and 6~19m according to
the different specifications. The length of Angle steel made in
Japan ranges from 6 to 15m.
The chemical composition of Angle steel belongs to rolled steel series for general structure, and the main verification indexes are C, Mn, P and S. According to the different brand, the content is different, the approximate range is C< 0.22%, Mn: 0.30 -- 0.65%, P< 0.060%, S< 0.060%.
Specific uses and advantages of Angle iron:
1, Marine Angle steel: mainly used for hull internal components.
The chemical composition of the material is also different from
that of ordinary Angle iron.
Main advantages: good toughness, high strength, good corrosion
resistance, welding performance and surface performance.
2. Spherical flat steel: Spherical flat steel is a kind of medium
profile mainly used in shipbuilding and bridge construction, among
which Marine spherical flat steel is an auxiliary medium profile
used in shipbuilding.
The main advantages are:

the surface appearance of other steel bars is engraved or ribbed.

unequal thickness Angle steel, is to meet the needs of large ship
construction and production of new profiles. In addition to large
ships, L-shaped steel can also be used in offshore engineering
structures and demanding construction structures.
The main advantages are:
