(1) advantages and disadvantages of carbon steel
Advantages :1, low price, easy smelting; 2, good processing
technology; 3, improve performance (C %, heat treatment)
Disadvantages :1, poor hardenability; 2, the intensity level is
low, the performance is low; 3, poor temper stability, poor heat
resistance; 4, low temperature resistance, carbon steel at
embrittlement temperature toughness becomes brittle; 5, no
corrosion resistance, carbon steel can not resist atmospheric,
acid, alkali and salt corrosion; 6, low magnetic conductivity, low
carbon steel; 7, non-magnetic, carbon steel in the magnetic field
will inevitably be magnetized.
2) advantages and disadvantages of stainless steel
The main advantages of stainless steel are: corrosion resistance or
high temperature resistance, acid resistance medium, high
