Flexible Gear Coupling is composed of inner gear ring with the same number of teeth and flange half coupling with outer teeth. The external teeth are divided into two types: straight teeth and drum teeth. The so-called drum teeth are made of spherical surfaces. The center of the spherical surface is on the axis of the gear. Allowing larger angular displacement (relative to the straight-tooth coupling), it can improve the contact conditions of the teeth, improve the ability to transmit torque, and prolong the service life.
