Magnetic Float Level Meter Operating Principle

The magnetic liquid level meter uses the annular magnetic float up or down with the liquid level to make the transmitter lead the sucking of the dry spring tube in the measuring rod, convert the liquid level into the corresponding electroresistance output hydroxylamine signal, and then install the integrated transmission circuit module in the junction box. The resistance signal is converted into a two-wire 4^2OmA standard signal output, and the maglev liquid level meter also provides the field LED digital display to measure the liquid level. The NYFZ-X series products are standard, anticorrosive and explosion-proof.

Based on the principle of buoyancy and magnetic coupling, the maglev liquid level gauge is equipped with a group of dry spring tubes and precise resistors in the detection tube. When the magnetic float moves up and down along the detection tube with the liquid level variation, The output resistance of the test tube is changed by connecting the dry spring tube at the liquid level in turn. The conversion circuit module in the junction box converts the resistance value to the 4〜20mA current output.

Magnetic Float Level Meter Installation Requirement

• Before installation, check whether the float limit ring is loose under the detection pipe, such as loosening it with a wrench to prevent the float from sliding during use;
• Installation must be vertical to ensure that the magnetic float can move freely up and down the test tube
• Avoid magnetic conductivity around the detection tube, otherwise it will directly affect the normal operation of the liquid level meter;
• For easy scaling media, the instrument should be cleaned regularly to avoid blocking the float and affecting the measurement
• The specific installation methods are as follows:
• Method 1: machining the installation hole on the flange cover and spinning directly into the maglev liquid level meter, as shown in figure 1;
• Method 2: fixed maglev level meter with sensor support and locking nut. This method is suitable fbr liquid level measurement of open tank, as shown in figure 2
• Method 3: a G2 thread hole is processed on the cover of the tank, which is convenient to put into the float ball, as shown in figure 3;
• Method 4: the length of the measuring rod can be adjusted according to the height of the liquid level by using the movable connecting head, as shown in figure 4
