Linkage Single Axis Slewing Drive Description
Link single-axis slewing drives rotate around one axis and make the tracking system move from east to west and back to home at night. These products are the easiest to install, and the most commonly used. The VE offers vertical mounting and a fully-enclosed drive IP66 in one high-powered unit.

Maintainance
The slewing drive device is a force transmission element that
performs relative slewing motion between the upper body and the
lower body, and is used to support the mass of the upper body and
bear the working load. The motor is used as the driving method.
When the rotary motor rotates, the planetary gear reduction box is
driven by the motor, and then the output shaft of the rotary drive
is driven, so that the rotary drive device can be rotated.
The good performance of the rotating structure components is the
basic guarantee of the overall flexibility, so the lubrication work
is essential.
According to different applications, the cycle of adding grease is
also different. For photovoltaic applications, the cycle of
injecting or replacing grease is five years. For construction
machinery applications, because its working speed and frequency are
much higher than those of photovoltaic applications, grease must be
added or replaced every year or even every six months.
Under special working conditions, such as the tropics, high
humidity, dust, and large temperature difference, during continuous
operation, the lubrication cycle should be shortened, and some new
grease must be added before and after the machine stops running for
a long time. Fill the raceway with grease until it seeps out of the
sealing band.
