1. Problems in bulk copper processing
Sometimes the overall copper bar is difficult to process, there is
a blind corner that cannot be processed, or it is difficult to
process. If the required tool is too long or too small, it can be
considered to divide an additional copper bar. Sometimes the local
copper bar needs to be cleaned. This copper bar is not difficult to
process, but it must be clear about the partial number of spark
hours and the calibration benchmark.
2. Add T for thin drawer copper
This kind of copper bar is easy to become open during processing.
When processing, a new knife should be used. The knife should be
small and the feed should not be too large. When processing, the
length a can be made accurate, but a large margin (such as 1.0mm)
should be left for d, and then the two sides should walk. Each
time, the depth h=0.2~1. The depth feed should not be too much, nor
should it go around the knife, but should be divided into two
sides.
3. Left and right parts and one out of two directions
Sometimes a set of molds will produce two parts. For the left and
right parts, the graphics can be made by mirror. If two identical
parts are produced, the figure must be balanced or rotated in XY,
and must not be mirrored. Be careful not to go in the opposite
direction.
4. Die direction
The four guide bolt holes of the mold are not completely
symmetrical, but one is asymmetrical, so it is clear that there is
a benchmark on each template when processing the front and rear
molds. When the processed front and rear molds are combined, the
benchmark must be aligned with the benchmark, especially for the
molds formed by the original mold. When drawing, pay attention to
the direction. The direction of the copper head is the same as that
of the front view (top view), the direction of the core and the
frame of the Zang branch is the same as that of the copper head,
and the front die is the opposite. Some decorative lines such as
grooves or bosses on curved surfaces are difficult to process
because they are relatively narrow. For grooves, we generally avoid
hollowing out, that is, milling deeper, and then adding a loose pin
to make a countersunk surface. Generally, the boss can only be made
into a loose pin separately, and the big copper pin can not be
made, so as to ensure the quality.
5. Fitting tolerance of moulds and products
A set of products usually has several or more than ten parts, and
the main mating dimensions of these parts are guaranteed by
computer gong processing. It is important to select reasonable
tolerances, especially some product design drawings do not consider
mating problems. The matching of bottom and surface shells is
undoubtedly a 0-to-0 matching. The positioning is ensured by the
support. The tolerance of concave and convex supports is generally
0.1MM, single side. For the accessories on the big body, such as
transparent mirror, the shape of the general accessories should be
0.1~0.2 smaller than the size of the big body on one side. For the
movable accessories on the big body, such as buttons, the shape of
the accessories should be 0.1~0.5 smaller than the shape of the big
body on one side. The surface shape of the fitting on the body
should be consistent with the surface shape of the body, and it can
come down from the body surface.
6. Ejection angle (draft angle)
The plastic mold shall be made with a mold angle, or it will be
scratched. If the drawing does not indicate it, you can discuss
with the mold maker. The mold angle is generally 0.5~3 degrees. If
the mold is etched, the mold angle should be larger, 2~5 degrees,
depending on the thickness of the etched pattern.
