OM2K SOLAR LED Tall Building Medium Intensity Aviation Obstruction Lights

The FAA recommends the use of stable red obstruction lights on towers and communication obstacles 50 to 2,200 feet high, which can be dangerous to small aircraft and helicopters at night. Steady red obstruction lights are recommended at 150 feet, moderate red or white flashing lights at 350 feet, and multi-level lights at 1750 feet. See FAA Advisory.

The OM2K SOLAR LED Tall Building Medium Intensity Aviation Obstruction Lights -based medium-intensity red beacon utilizes a state-of-the-art optical design, resulting in the most compact, efficient, FAA compliant L-864 device on the market. It is ideal for installing and retrofitting incandescent lamps on cell towers, broadcast towers, wind turbines, tall buildings and similar obstacles.

D464 can be solid red or flashing. It is also available with our infrared option to provide pilot visibility using night vision goggles (see below). The beacon's robust, low-power design will provide years of maintenance-free service. A 5-year warranty is provided, with a typical service life approaching 15 years.



NOTE:

  • Year-round, unrestricted solar exposure is critical to long-term performance. Shade dramatically reduces the ability of the light to charge its battery.
  • Charge every 3 months when storing.

High-rise building aviation obstacle light configuration scheme
The obstacle lights set up by high-rise buildings and building complexes should be able to see the outline of the object from all directions, and the horizontal direction can also refer to the barrier lights set at a distance of about 45 meters, and the general building should install obstacle lights at the top of it, and the installation height H is calculated from the horizontal ground.
