Overview:

Transparent filem dressing is a kind of ultra-thin new dressing produced by modern international high-tech. It is widely used in hospital intravenous injection, catheter fixation and various wound treatment and protection.

Specification:

Application:

1. Fixation of indwelling needle and venous catheter.

2. Minor abrasions, small first - and second-degree burns and minor wounds.

3. Prevention and treatment of bedsore and chapped skin.

4. Protection of skin supply area.

5. Postoperative incision and laceration protection.

Usage:

1. After the wound is cleaned and disinfected, take out sterile transparent medical dressing from the bag.

2. Remove the release paper from one end of the transparent dressing to expose the adhesive surface.

3. Holding both ends, apply the adhesive surface to the skin and smooth it from the middle to all sides.

4. Remove the release material from the back.

5. When a small amount of exudate is generated after abrasions, burns or surgery, sterile gauze or absorbent pads and anti-inflammatory drugs should be applied to the wound after cleaning the wound, and then transparent medical dressing should be affixed.

Contraindication:

1. Cannot replace suturing, hemostasis, skin disinfection and other measures.

2. It can not be used for fixation of arterial ductus.

3. The wound is infected and ulcer is forbidden. If the wound becomes infected later, such as congestion, swelling, exudation and fever, the use should be discontinued or the frequency of replacement should be increased according to the doctor's diagnosis.

4. When removing the dressing, care should be taken that the catheter or other instruments covering it are not pulled off.
