Features:


1. Long working distance objective lens makes a gap between the lens surface and the workpiece surface at focal length, so as to observe the workpiece which is usually difficult to focus due to poor projection.


This objective provides a flat, monochromatic (almost chromatic) image across the entire field of view. It is suitable for use in a variety of microscopes.

Adjustment of objective lens correction ring


Most microscope objectives are designed to be used with cover glass of a standard thickness of 0.17 mm and refractive index of 1.515, which is satisfactory when the objective has a numerical aperture of 0.4 or less. However, when using a high numerical aperture dry objective (with a numerical aperture of 0.8 or greater), a change in cover glass thickness of only a few microns results in significant image quality degradation due to aberration and worsens as the cover glass thickness increases. To compensate for this error, more corrected objectives are equipped with correction rings that adjust the position of the central lens group to match fluctuations in cover glass thickness. This interactive program explores how to adjust the correction collar for optimal image quality.
