This grade of titanium bar is particularly suitable for applications involving corrosive environments such as hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4) solutions.

This addition of palladium enhances its resistance to corrosion compared to commercially pure titanium, earning it the name Ti-Pd alloy bar.
