It manufactured use wet-press technology(also known as 'Wet Press'). The product is with one side pretty smooth surface, the other is with grid texture. The raw material is renewable virgin fibers such as bagasse, bamboo, it's 100% recyclable, biodegradable, compostable.

1) Are you a trader or a manufacturer?
We are a manufacturer, we have our own production plants located in Southern China.
2) What type of product do you make?
We supply Molded Pulp Trays and Tooling/Mold.
There's three types of molded pulp trays we supply:

  • Type 1: Thermoformed / Thin Walled

Manufactured use 'Thermoformed' modern technology(also known as 'Wet Pressing') allows for high quality thin-walled items with good dimensional accuracy, and smooth, rigid surfaces. The wall thickness range from 0.6mm to 1.3mm. Main used for tableware, premium consumer electronics packaging and cosmetic package.

  • Type 2: Transfer molded

Transfer molded means after formed then transfer under the sun or oven to dry, which is widely used today, we called it Dry Pressing in the molded pulp industry. The product surface feature is one side smooth but no so smooth as type 1, the other side is rough, the wall thickness range from 1.5mm to 3.0mm. Typical examples are egg trays and industrial packaging. The mold and product cost much less than Thermoformed type.

  • Type 3: Processed

It manufactured with a secondary or specific treatment process, such as additional coating, printing, hot stamping or additives.
3) Are your molded pulp products biodegradable?
Yes, our pulp tray can be 100% biodegraded in natural conditions within 90 days, which is largely shorter than the degradation of synthetic plastics
4) Will there be a mold fee for doing this trays?
Yes, there be a mold fee for all customized design.
