Introduction
Human Machine Interfaces, or HMIs, are exactly what they sound like. They typically consist of dedicated PC hardware with a touch screen that is used to allow operators to better interact with the process of an automated machine. The screens can range in size from 4” to 20” (diagonally) and come with a variety of different touch technologies.
