Truck cluthch disc
The clutch disc transmits engine torque directly to the input shaft of the transmission. The clutch disc, when coupled with the pressure plate and flywheel, makes and breaks the flow of power from the engine to the transmission.
The clutch is important to your truck in many ways. First of all, the clutch transmits power from the engine to the gear box. It practically breaks the connection between the engine and the wheels. This means, when you want to bring your truck to a stop (or slow down), you have to either downshift or press the clutch.
