CCS, BV ABS Approved 600-2400m3/h FiFi System Diesel Engine Driven, Electrical Motor Driven Fire Pump is one type water pump which is used to supply the water for fire fighting. It is driven by diesel engine with different capacity and throw head. It can be connected to the diesel engine by flexible coupling, reduction ratio gearbox, speed increase gearbox and clutch etc according to the RPM. It is usually installed with the diesel engine on the same base frame. There are vertical type, horizontal type for different installation requirements. Our fire pump is low pressure pump with the max. working pressure 1.6Mp.

Diesel engine driven fire pump is made of stainless shaft, bronze impeller, cast iron or bronze shell. With bronze material, it can be used for sea water because of the high sea water corrosion resistant. For fresh water, cast iron is enough which will be more cost effective. There are end suction top outlet type pump and side suction top outlet type pump available. It can be connected to the flywheel or PTO according to the actual situation. To reach the max. Efficiency of the fire pump, the diesel engine power must be 20% higher than the rated power of the pump.
