The uP1542SSU8 is a compact synchronous-rectified buck controller specifically designed to operate from 5V or 12V supply voltage and to deliver high quality output voltage as low as 0.6V for linear OCP. The UP1542SSU8 adopts constant frequency, voltage mode control scheme, featuring easy-to-use, low external component count, and fast transient response. Fixed 300kHz operation provides an optimal level of integration to reduce size and cost of the power supply. Other features include internal soft start, over/undervoltage protection, over current protection and shutdown function. This part is available in PSOP-8L package.
