- Pot magnet is a type of magnetic assembly, which is generally composed of a magnet with metal shell, most of the magnet with a straight hole or a counterbore, whole part looks like a pot, so named as pot magnet;
- According to different requirements of application and magnetic strength, different magnetic materials can be selected, such as sintered NdFeB, sintered samarium cobalt, sintered ferrite, etc.;
- The material of the shell is commonly produced by a ferromagnetic material, which can be magnetized to increase the magnetic force of the part. The magnetic material is relatively expensive, so it is necessary to enhance the magnetic performance by designing the magnetic circuit and selecting a suitable back shell to efficiently utilize the material for saving cost;
- Special coatings can be used to improve the corrosion resistance of components for wet environment applications
- With holes or with thread in the back shell, you can use screws and nuts to combine with hooks, to form magnetic hooks, which are widely used in our daily life
