Based on the static load test of a simply supported steel box
girder suspension bridge spanning the Yangtze River with a main
span of 800 m, the strength and stiffness of the control section of
the bridge structure under static load are analyzed to evaluate the
bearing capacity performance of the bridge.
Through the finite element analysis and simulation of the static load state of the bridge, the measured structural response of the bridge under the actual static load is compared with the finite element simulation analysis results. The results show that the strength and stiffness of the test control section of the extra-large bridge meet the requirements of the specification , the stress condition is consistent with the theoretical simulation results, and the overall performance of the bridge is good.
