This QSFP+ breakout cable connects a single QSFP+ port to four 10G SFP+ ports and delivers what you need most in your network connections: reliable performance. It’s built to MSA specifications and fully tested to ensure seamless compatibility.

This active optical cable (AOC) is fully hot-pluggable and supports 40 Gigabit Ethernet applications connected through QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable) ports. The AOC cable is lighter and more flexible than QSFP+ direct-attach cables which makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces and over longer distances.Designed for high-speed interconnects, this low-power, low-latency optical cable is ideal for applications
such as point-to-point in-rack and across-rack network switch or server connections, for up to four 10G SFP+ devices

Topstar's QSFP+ to 4 x SFP+ breakout active optical cables (AOC) is designed for the interconnect between 40G Ethernet (40GbE) and 10G Ethernet (10GbE) applications., which is also known as QSFP+ splitter AOC or QSFP+ Fan-out AOC. The QSFP+ to 4x SFP+ breakout AOC offers four parallel, bi-directional channels each operating at up to 10.3125 Gbps. Using industry-leading VCSEL technology, an advanced new light-engine design, and bend-insensitive multimode fiber, this AOC delivers exceptional cost and performance value for 10GbE and 40GbE
applications at distances up to 300 meters. The optical end is never exposed to the data center environment;

Therefore, no cleaning or special handling is required;
