Higher Technical Content Double Girder Overhead Crane Workers To Control
Introduction:
The double-girder overhead crane has strong bearing capacity, large span, good overall stability and many varieties, but its quality is larger than that of the single-girder gantry crane with the same lifting capacity, and the cost is also higher. According to the structural form of the main beam, it can be divided into two forms: box girder and truss. Generally a box-shaped structure is used.

The difference between single girder and double girder overhead crane:
1. The two are structurally different
Generally, single-girder bridge cranes are relatively simple in
structure, light in weight, and relatively simple in installation,
daily maintenance, and assembly and disassembly. However, the
double-girder bridge crane is relatively complex in structure and
has a large weight, and is relatively complicated in installation
and daily maintenance and repair.
2. Different production costs
Single girder overhead cranes are shorter in span and consume less
construction materials, so they cost less. The double-girder bridge
crane has a larger span, more consumables, and higher technical
content, so the production cost is higher.
3. Differences in the way of operation
In terms of operation mode, single-girder cranes are generally
operated on the ground, which can be operated by handle and remote
control, while double-girder bridge cranes require workers to
control them during operation.
4. Mechanical properties
In terms of mechanical performance, the stability of single-girder
overhead cranes is relatively low, the rated lifting capacity is
relatively small, and the work level is relatively low. The
double-girder overhead crane has relatively high stability, heavier
rated lifting capacity, and relatively high working level.
5. The working environment of the two is different
Generally, single-girder bridge cranes are suitable for workplaces
with short spans, relatively light lifting weights and relatively
small construction site space. The double-girder bridge crane is
suitable for sites with long spans, relatively heavy lifting
capacity and wide construction site space.
Application:
Double-girder overhead crane is an important tool and equipment for mechanization and automation of production process in modern industrial production and lifting and transportation. Therefore, double-girder overhead cranes are widely used in indoor and outdoor industrial and mining enterprises, iron and steel chemical industry, railway transportation, port terminals and logistics turnover departments and places.
