Large-Scale Ultrafiltration Membrane System Water Purification Ultrafiltration Equipment
Ultrafiltration Water Treatment System are often used to:
(1) Desalination and concentration of macromolecular substances, and exchange equilibrium of solvent system of macromolecular substances.
(2) Fractional separation of macromolecules.
(3) pyrogenation of biochemical agents or other agents.
Ultrafiltration technology has become an indispensable and powerful tool in pharmaceutical industry, food industry, electronic industry and environmental protection.
The Characteristics of Ultrafiltration Water Treatment System
The operation is simple, the cost is low, do not need to increase any chemical reagents, especially the experimental conditions of ultrafiltration technology is mild, compared with evaporation, freeze drying, no phase change, and does not cause temperature, pH change, so it can prevent the degeneration, inactivation and autolysis of biological macromolecules. In the preparation of biological macromolecules, ultrafiltration is mainly used for desalination, dehydration and concentration of biological macromolecules. Ultrafiltration method also has some limitations, it can not directly obtain dry powder preparation. For protein solutions, concentrations of 10 to 50% are generally obtained.

Workflow of Ultrafiltration Water Treatment System
Raw liquid - storage tank - pressure pump - precision filter - hollow ultrafiltration equipment - storage tank - backwash tank - backwash pump.
In the ultrafiltration process, the influencing factors that affect the ultrafiltration efficiency mainly include the following aspects:
①Operating pressure. Since a gel layer is formed at the interface
of the membrane during the ultrafiltration process, after the
operating pressure increases to a certain value, the permeable flux
no longer increases with the increase of the pressure, so the
operating pressure should be appropriate. Large permeable flux, but
also compaction or damage to the membrane. The actual
ultrafiltration operation should be carried out near the critical
permeable flux, and the operating pressure at this time is about
0.5-0.6MPa.
②The flow rate of feed liquid. Increasing the flow rate of the feed
liquid can increase the turbulence of the liquid flow on the
membrane surface, which is beneficial to slow down the
concentration polarization and improve the processing capacity of
the equipment. Control the flow rate of the feed liquid in an
appropriate range. Under normal circumstances, the flow rate of the
ultrafiltration feed liquid is 1 to 3 m/s.
③Pretreatment of feed liquid. In order to ensure the normal and
stable operation of the ultrafiltration system and improve the
ultrafiltration efficiency, the feed liquid needs to be pretreated
before ultrafiltration. The main objects of feed liquid
pretreatment are suspended solids and pH value. The pretreatment
method is selected according to the nature and needs of the feed
liquid, and methods such as filtration, chemical coagulation and pH
value adjustment, disinfection, and activated carbon adsorption can
be used accordingly.
④Operating temperature. The operating temperature of the system
mainly affects the viscosity of the operating liquid. Under the
conditions allowed by the material of the membrane and the liquid
to be processed, increasing the operating temperature is beneficial
to increase the mass transfer efficiency and increase the permeable
flux.
⑤ membrane cleaning. When the permeable flux of the membrane is
attenuated to a certain extent, it is necessary to clean it. The
cleaning methods of the membrane include hydraulic cleaning,
chemical cleaning and mechanical cleaning, etc., which should be
determined according to the properties of the membrane and the
treatment liquid and the type of the membrane module.
