Product Information:


Compliance standards and clauses: IEC60335-2-15:2024 "Household and similar electrical appliances-Safety-Part2-15:Particular requirements for heating liquids" clause 21.101 and figure 109, 110.
Specimen and restrictions: Kettle.
Test purpose: To ensure that the handle of the kettle and its fixing device will not break suddenly during normal use, thereby exposing the user to danger. The purpose is to test its mechanical strength.


Test Principle:


The equipment is controlled by PLC and operated by touch screen. The motor drives the mechanical arm to realize left and right swing and up and down swing test.


1. Horizontal motion test: The system controls the motor to drive the swing arm, driving the kettle filled with 1.2 times the rated capacity of steel balls to swing back and forth 2500 times at a rate of 10 times/min within the left and right 90° direction range. One test means swinging from 0° to 90° and then returning to the 0° position. The servo motor controls uniform acceleration and deceleration. The fixture and the kettle handle are filled with 5 mm rubber with a Shore hardness of 50 ± 10.


2. Vertical motion test: The system controls the motor to drive the swing arm, driving the kettle filled with 1.2 times the rated capacity of steel balls to swing back and forth 5000 times at a rate of 10 times/min within the vertical range of 120°. One test refers to swinging from 0° to 120° and then returning to the 0° position. The servo motor controls uniform acceleration and deceleration. The fixture and the kettle handle are filled with 5 mm rubber with a Shore hardness of 50 ± 10.
