Compared with model scb12 epoxy resin cast three-phase dry-type
transformer, model scb13 dry-type transformer is a new upgrading
generation product. Its no-load loss reduces by 5% compared with
model scb12, showing significant energy-saving effect. Meanwhile,
it is safe, fire-retardant, pollution-free, maintenance free and
easy installation. With good moisture-proof performance, it can
restart without pre-drying after shutdown. This model shows low
loss, low partial discharge and low noise. Under forced air
cooling, it can operate at 120% of rated load. Perfect temperature
protection and control system provides reliable guarantee for the
safe operation of the transformer.

·Structural features
1. Low partial discharge:
Adoption of leading mixing method and the membrane-type vacuum
deaerator makes the mixture material evenly and eliminates the
bubbles at the bottom of the mixture. The product demonstrates low
partial discharge and can be controlled at 5pc. Both high voltage
coil and the low voltage coil can be casted under vacuum pressure,
which generates encapsulation of resin insulation with
characteristics of flame retardant, explosion-proof and environment
protection.
2. Raw materials of winding coil such as glass fiber have
self-extinguishing property, which will not produce arc when short
circuit. The resin will not produce harmful gases at high
temperature.
3. High mechanical strength: the resin with filler produces small
difference of expansion coefficient in the casting body, small
curing shrinkage rate, small internal stress, and high hardness of
the solidified object. In the epoxy resin coating on the inner and
outer surfaces of the high and low pressure coils, there are
preformed reinforced materials, which have similar dense structure
as the reinforced concrete, so mechanical strength of the casting
body of this technique is greater than pure epoxy resin, and can
withstand electrodynamic action under sudden short-circuit
meanwhile without damage .
4. Low loss and energy-saving: The adoption of isotropic soft
magnetic material generates low magnetization power, high
electrical resistivity and low eddy current consumption.
