The 9CRSI is alloy tool steel, which has high hardness but high brittleness, and is suitable for soft wastes such as rubber, fiber and paper. CR12MOV and SKD-11 are cold working die steel, which have similar properties and are suitable for tearing wood, waste household appliances, and plastics with high hardness.
