Copper Tungsten Alloy Electrode is an alloy composed of tungsten and copper. The copper content of common alloy is 10%~50%. The alloy is made of powder metallurgy and has good conductivity, thermal conductivity, high temperature strength and certain plasticity. At very high temperatures, such as above 3000 ℃, copper in the alloy will liquefy and evaporate, absorb a lot of heat, and reduce the surface temperature of the material. Therefore, this material is also called metal sweat.
Edm electrode: When tungsten steel and high temperature resistant superhard alloy die need electric corrosion, the ordinary electrode loss is large, slow. However, tungsten copper has high corrosion rate, low loss rate, accurate electrode shape and excellent machining performance, which can greatly improve the precision of machining parts.
High voltage discharge tube electrode: when the high pressure vacuum discharge tube is working, the temperature of the contact material will rise to thousands of degrees Celsius in a few tenth of a second. However, the high temperature corrosion resistance, high toughness, good electrical and thermal conductivity of tungsten and copper provide the necessary conditions for stable operation of the discharge tube.
