KTC Ball Nose End Mills for Aluminum
Ball nose spiral end mills are used for smooth contouring and fine
detail passes with a CNC router and often for complex shapes like
3D carvings. The rounded ends produce smooth curves that would be
impossible to achieve with flat end bits. Small diameter ball nose
end mills are used for projects with intricate detail while larger
bits are used for smoother projects with more gradual slopes. These
bits are also excellent for routing fluted columns and channels in
cutting boards and countertops edges.
The radius defines the size of the tip of the bit which is half the
size of the cutting diameter. Choose the radius that matches the
detail resolution of your project. These bits come in a wide array
of shank and radius combinations.
A380CR high gloss aluminum milling cutter series adopt domestic high-quality fine grain tungsten steel material, flexural strength: 4100mpa, grain size: 0.8 μm, not easy to break the edge. A new special aluminum milling cutter with color coating is introduced, which increases the wear resistance of the cutter. The unique groove design and the polishing treatment of the front cutting edge and groove are adopted to increase the cutting performance. It is especially suitable for efficient and high gloss machining of aluminum alloy (6 and 7 series aluminum) materials.
