1. Description
1. What is the CAT8? Class 8 cable is a copper cable integrated cabling system with a maximum transmission bandwidth of 2000MHz and a transmission rate of 40Gbps.The standard wire gauge is 22AWG (0.64mm).Cable structure: S/FTP;That is, the line of aluminum foil shielding, weaving net total shielding.The permanent link cabling distance is not more than 24 meters, and the channel cabling distance is not more than 30 meters.Currently, it is mainly used in data centers.
2. CAT8 in ISO and TIA naming.ISO defines the transmission performance of eight types of lines in ISO 11801-2017.Also, name the eight CLASS lines: CLASSI and CLASSII.The transport performance of the eight lines is also defined in TIA 568D.And named CAT8.1, CAT8.2
