Auto and Manual Operation Hydrator with Higher Hydrated Rate and
Suitable Temperature
Working Principle of Lime Hydrator:
The lime hydrator is directly installed in the lower part of the
quick lime storage or hopper, and the dry quick lime is evenly
conveyed to the lime hydrator through the impeller feeder (electric
air lock), and the dry powder and the appropriate amount of water
are carried out by the rotor of the high-speed lime hydrator. In
the process of stirring and breaking up, the mixed material with a
predetermined humidity is pushed to the outlet through the screw
conveyor belt, so as to completely solve the purpose of secondary
dust.
Structure and Features of Lime Hydrator:
This lime hydrator is mainly composed of an impeller feeder, blade
conveying and mixed impact humidification system, and is equipped
with a special electric control box, using pressure water more than
0.3MPa and preliminary mixing, after high-speed rotation, mixing
and impact to complete humidification and stirring.
This lime hydrator can be controlled by two kinds of electrical
appliances: microcomputer joint control and manual operation, and
the control system can be designed according to users’ needs. This
equipment has the characteristics of compact structure, advanced
technology, reasonable technology, high reliability, small wear,
large processing capacity, long life, continuous work and low
failure rate.
How to Operate Lime Hydrator:
1. Before starting the lime hydrator, check whether the lubricant
amount of the reducer window is sufficient, whether the main body
of the hand wheel is flexible, whether there are any liters in the
machine or not, and whether other operating parts are abnormal or
not.
2. After confirming that it is normal, turn on the air switch in
the control box, turn the automatic/manual switch to the manual
position, and then move the impeller feeder and lime hydrator to
check whether they are operating normally or not.
3. Turn the automatic/manual transfer switch to the automatic
position, press the automatic start button, turn on the host first,
let the host run first, after a delay of 5~15 seconds, the impeller
feeder and the solenoid valve will automatically open. Check the
discharge port of the lime hydrator. If the water-quicklime ratio
exceeds the normal range (8% ~ 15%), the inlet valve can be
adjusted manually.
4. When the powder in the lime hydrator is unloaded, press the
automatic stop button, first stop the impeller feeder, and then
delay 20~30 seconds, the host and the solenoid valve are
automatically closed. After the lime hydrator is completely
stopped, turn off the air switch in the control box.
Higher slaking rate lime hydrator has the advantages of higher
slaking rate, higher mechanization, configurable automatic control
system, easy operation. The lime hydrator adopts variable frequency
speed control, which is easy to operate and control the whole
slaking process. The slaking and slag removal are fully mechanized.
The PLC system is specially designed for higher slake rate lime
hydrator to requires one person to operate and lower labor
intensity. The higher slaking rate lime hydrator can also do
continuous production, fast slaking speed and high production
intensity. The quicklime can be conveyed into the mixing and
grinding chamber with a filling rate of over 90%, which guarantee
higher working efficiency and less heat loss during slaking. The
material can always be in a boiling state (over 100 °C), and 15
minutes at high temperature It can be fully hydrated and achieves
the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.
This higher slaking rate lime hydrator can also deal with low
quality quicklime(over-burnt or lower activity). The burnt
quicklime can be completely hydrated completely under the
high-intensity stirring of the hydrator, which also make full use
of raw materials and reduce the cost of raw materials. The
whiteness of the finished lime hydrate can be increased by 1 ~ 2
degrees, compared with the conventional lime hydrator.
