It is suitable to determine kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian fluids) by measuring the time for a volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer at a constant temperature.

Principle:Under certain constant temperature,measure flow time of liquid with specified volume through one calibrated glass capillary,multiplication of capillary constant and flow time is the kinematic viscosity of this liquid under that temperature.
