Product Description:
Deeply Converged Large Capacity Multi-Mode BBU
Baseband Unit (BBU) is responsible for processing the baseband
signals. ZTE provides three types of BBUs:
ZXSDR B8200/B8300 can be used in the integrated indoor/outdoor base
station, or connected to RRUs/AAUs in the distributed base station.
Based on ZTE unique SDR platform, it supports
GSM/UMTS/FDD-LTE/TDD-LTE (GUFT+N) multi-mode configuration and
smooth evolution. It enables operators to deploy one unified radio
access network rather than independent GSM, UMTS or LTE networks,
which brings simplicity and convenience with low CAPEX and OPEX.

Pad BBU is a compact BBU, which features a small volume, low power
consumption, high density and zero noise. It can be used for both
indoor and outdoor application scenarios with natural heat
dissipation and IP65 protection. The unit can be mounted on the
wall or on the pole, no need of extra cabinets. And it can be
flexibly installed near the RRU to save the optical fiber
resources.

Innovative RRUs for Diversified Scenarios
Distributed base station adopts the structure of separated baseband
unit (BBU) and remote radio unit (RRU), which not only facilitates
flexible deployment and decreases the construction cost, but also
saves feeder loss and enhances network coverage. It is widely
accepted by operators around the world. Therefore, RRUs with
different features are customized for all kinds of scenarios such
as high output power, ultra broadband, high integration, multi-PA
etc.
High Output Power Ultra Broadband RRU (UBR): As the first UBR
product in the industry, each RF channel of the ZTE UBR product
supports an ultra broadband spanning across dual bands. One UBR
supports multi-band and multi-mode networks. The network which
previously required at least two RRUs per sector can now be
replaced by one UBR product per sector. RRUs and feeders are cut by
50%.
Large Capacity High Maturity 8T8R RRU: As the first ultra broadband
8T8R RRU product in the industry, it provides large capacity and
long-distance coverage with transmission power of 8*20W, as well as
the ability to support 4 carriers. Being commercially mature, its
good performance has also been validated in existing network. Its
total shipment ranks first in China Mobile's 8T8R RRUs.
Ultra Broadband High Power 4T4R RRU: As the first ultra broadband
high power 4T4R RRU product in the industry, it has four key
highlights as follows:
Ultra broadband: Supports up to 160MHz IBW. One RRU can cover the
whole bandwidth.
High power: Power of single channel reaches 40W, greatly reducing
the CAPEX.
Multi-carrier: Supports multi-mode/frequency network, four carriers
and multi-carrier aggregation.
Flexible split: Supports a RRU being split into two 2T2R units,
convenient and flexible deployment.
Cost-Effective 3T6R RRU: One 3T6R RRU supports GU dual-mode in 3
sectors. Dual-RRU combination supports LTE 2x2MIMO in 3 sectors,
decreasing the evolution cost and protecting the existing
investment. Compared to the traditional solution, the number of
RRUs drops and the load requirement is lowered down, which enables
fast installation and saves roof resources. In addition, 3T6R RRU
adopts natural heat dissipation, eliminating the noise trouble.
High Power Wide Coverage 2T2R RRU: The 2T2R RRU has the highest
transmission power among 2T2R products in the industry and supports
2x2 MIMO multi-carrier aggregation, effectively enhancing network
capacity and coverage. Its compact design and diversified
installation methods facilitates the fast deployment in different
scenarios.
High integration iMacro (AAU): An active antenna unit (AAU) is the
integration of the traditional RRU and the antenna. The integrated
architecture of the AAU achieves less feeder loss, which enhances
the coverage. ZTE AAU product uses the ultra broadband technology
to meet the multi-band and multi-mode network construction
requirements. It requires less space and is easy to be hidden from
sight, which makes site acquisition and rapid deployment easier.
Large Capacity Integrated Macro Base Station Series
ZTE Macro Base Station (BS) series include three types: large
capacity indoor base station ZXSDR BS8800, modularized outdoor base
station ZXSDR BS8900A, and large capacity outdoor base station
ZXSDR BS8900B. Based on the distributed architecture, the baseband
unit B8200 and a variety of indoor RF units RSUs are combined and
assembled in the base station cabinet. Among them, the outdoor BSs
can also provide transmission, lightning protection, power supply
and batteries, and reserved room for other devices, supporting
fully functional outdoor BS solutions.
The products support ZTE unique 2T4R RF module, with a single
module supporting 2 sectors or 2T4R, reducing cost and improving
the performance of network; support power amplifier with high
efficiency, contributing to very low power consumption; support
GSM/ UMTS/LTE (GUL) multi-band multi-mode, saving CAPEX and OPEX
significantly.

New Generation Magic Remote Radio Unit Series

following the success of previous Magic RRUs in global business.
The new generation RRUs, adapting to a variety of scenarios, set a
new record in raising the power amplifier efficiency. With the
minimum volume and weight in the industry, the new generation
products can help operators quickly and flexibly construct a
low-cost, high-performance and converged 2G/3G/4G mobile
communication network.
Smallest and Lightest 2T RRU: The 2T RRU of the Magic RRU family,
smallest and lightest in industry, with only 2/3 of the volume of
previous generation products, is easy for site acquisition and fast
for installation.
High Output Power Full Working Bandwidth (FWB) RRU: 2*80W high
output power supports multi-mode large capacity. Full working
bandwidth can help operators with dispersed spectrum save half of
the RF modules and feeders. Four receiving ways can enhance
significantly the uplink coverage and performance, reduce
effectively the mobile transmit power and extend mobile standby
time.
High Performance 4T4R RRU: One single RRU can support 4x4 multiple
input multiple output (MIMO) technology, with nearly 50% reduction
in the volume, contributing to quick and easy installation.
Compared to 2x2 MIMO, the data rate per carrier doubles. Combined
with multi-carriers aggregation (CA), a single user's peak data
