the current cost is still relatively high.
E-type silicon steel sheet is also known as shell-type or
Japanese-type silicon steel sheet. Its main advantage is that the
primary and secondary coils share a wire frame and have a higher

protective shell for the winding, making the winding less
susceptible to mechanical damage; at the same time, the silicon
steel sheet has a larger heat dissipation area and less magnetic

secondary leakage inductance is larger and the external magnetic
field interference is also greater. In addition, because the
average circumference of the winding is longer, under the same
number of turns and core cross-sectional area, the EI-type core
transformer uses more copper wire.
